Keep your calm this autumn with essential oils

Back to school is finally behind us and a routine is starting to form!

Be it for your studies or work, we’re getting back to a normal but often more stressful rhythm.

For adults, it’s back to our regular schedules, where we often race against the clock, and for young ones, it’s time to hit the books.

For children and teenagers, it’s the start of a new school year in a particular social context this year.

Given this, it’s not surprising that these changes can provoke nervousness, anxiety, stress, anguish and even insomnia for some.

You probably already know this but many essential oils are useful when facing these types of situations as they have multiple properties:

  • Soothing
  • Calming
  • Relaxing
  • Sedative

Luckily, many essential oils hold these useful properties. With this in mind, here are some that we recommend:

  • Bergamot
  • Camomille
  • Lavender fine or true lavender
  • Mandarin
  • Marjoram
  • Lemon balm
  • Sweet orange

Of course, there are many more but these are just some of our favourites.

If stress or anxiety prevents you from getting a good night’s sleep, you’ll have less energy and patience to tackle your daily activities and obligations. Using essential oil-based products can help diminish these problems and help you feel better.

The essential oils previously mentioned can be used for diffusion, or use one of our specially formulated B-Roll, directly on the skin of the wrist or solar plexus (rub it in gently to help it penetrate the skin, after application).

Many blends are also available in easy to carry sprays that you can take with you wherever you go. Simply shake it and spray it around the room and you’re done! You can even use it in the car! Spray it 2-3 times in your car before going to an important meeting or exam. By breathing in the ambient air of the room (or vehicle) charged with essential oils, you’ll reap their benefits.
